What is sugaring?
A hair removal method first used in 1900 BC. A paste of sugar, water and lemon juice is moulded to the skin and flicked off in the direction of hair growth. Because it is water soluble it rinses clean and does not adhere to living skin cells the way wax can.
Is sugaring better than waxing?
Neither is better, they suit different skin. Sugaring is applied at body temperature so there is no heat, which suits sensitive or reactive skin. Traditional wax is faster on large or coarse areas. Ask your specialist which they would use on you.
